WHO ARE WE?

Cat litter comes first when you think about Recoll. The company has been active in the cat litter industry since 2006 and has earned its spurs in this. The production facilities are located near the Turkish city of Izmir and with a direct base to the local port we also have a convenient location for shipping our goods. Since 2016 we have been active as a company in Europe to also serve our customers in Europe. At Recoll, quality is paramount. We think it is important that our partners are satisfied with their product. Delivering high-quality cat litter is therefore one of our goals.

Cats are beautiful animals that deserve all the attention of the world. As Recoll, we give these animals this attention. By producing high-quality cat litter, we not only offer cats but also their bosses an excellent living environment. We produce cat litter in various shapes and sizes and this offers our partners far-reaching possibilities. MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Our company produces bentonite cat litter, which we produce from our own mine, with our own tools and supplies in our factory. After the pre-drying process, the cat litter is supplied to the production line and is made to reach the end consumer. The phases in the production process are, respectively, the phases of breaking, drying, sieving and packaging. No chemicals are used at all of these stages, so that natural bentonite retains its clean and natural state until packaging is achieved.

We have our expertise in cat litter and challenge ourselves to take a few steps ahead. That is why we are always open to feedback. In this way we can constantly improve our services and bring even better products to the market. 

FOR WHO?

Cat litter from Recoll is available in our own house style packaging, but also in the packaging desired by our partners. There are of course conditions for packaging in a private label. The local pet stores and wholesale suppliers are welcome at Recoll. We always have an appropriate offer. Contact our sales department for further questions regarding our cat litter. 

What is bentonite?

Millions of years ago our world was known for its intense volcanic activity. With these volcanic eruptions, this volcanic ash and lava that is poured into the sea is gradually chemically altered under the influence of seawater and bentonite is formed.

 

Bentonite is a soft and easily formed clay that consists of very small crystals and clay-like minerals. In the past, bentonite clay was used to seal the roofs of village houses. Bentonite and the roofs were then protected by rainwater. Bentonite is used extensively in all kinds of sectors, for example in the production of soap and other cleaning products, in the wells, in the paper and steel industry, in the production of fertilizer and animal feed and in the construction of soap and other cleaning materials.

Bentonite is therefore also used in cat litter. This natural clay species easily forms in watertight lumps when it comes into contact with a liquid. It is therefore very easy to clean because large lumps from the litter box can always be replaced. Because our Recoll® cat litter gravel consists of high quality and pure bentonite, it is very safe to use for your cat.

FAQ

Our cat litter consists of 100% bentonite! This is a natural clay, which is harmless to humans and cats. No chemicals are used at all stages of the production process and care is taken to ensure that the natural bentonite retains its clean and natural state. 

The bentonite is collected from our own mines and processed at our factories in Turkey. There product undergoes a very complex process of breaking, drying, sieving and packaging.

Our 5L litter box filling will last for approximately 30 days with normal use. Here the litter box should be filled to a layer of 7 cm (approx.), And continuously kept to a layer of 7 cm (approx.). The lumps must be removed every day.
